Centre for European Research (CERGU)

The Centre for European Research (CERGU) is a multidisciplinary, network-based research center at the University of Gothenburg which is organizationally located at the Faculty of Social Sciences. As early as 1992, the early foundations of CERGU were being laid, leading to the formal establishment of the center in 1995. The aim of CERGU is to promote European research at the university-wide level. Currently, basic funding comes from three faculties: The School of Business, Economics and Law, The Faculty of Social Sciences and The Faculty of Arts.
