Applications must be submitted to both universities to be eligible for a seat at our Double degree with University of North Carolina At Chapel Hill (UNC-CH).

1. Apply to UNC-CH, by December 10, 2019 follow the specified requirements at their website. You will find a checklist for the UNC-CH application here.

2. Apply to the Masters Programme in European Studies (MAES) at the University of Gothenburg on universityadmissions.se by January 15, 2020. Please note that there is an application fee to UNC-CH that you must pay in order for your application to be reviewed. The tests GRE/GMAT and TOEFL/IELTS are mandatory for applicants to UNC-CH. The application deadline for UNC-CH by December 10 does not require that the applicant has carried out tests or reported their scores.

To enroll in the University of Gothenburg - UNC-CH option you must apply to and be admitted by both the University of Gothenburg and UNC-CH.

Entrance requirements and selection

The entrance requirements and selection is based on the same grounds as to our regular Master's Programme in European Studies. For information, see programme here. Note that your application should include a CV and a Statement of Intent. For requirements on these documents see the url above.
