EU-Pledge Event in Western Sweden

Öppet hus

The EU is part of our everyday lives and affects nearly half of all policy decisions being made at the local and regional levels. The project "EU på hemmaplan" revealed that there is an extensive
lack of knowledge in society about the EU, and that it is more difficult for citizens to influence decisions being made at the EU level than at the national level.

Therefore, on September 29th, the Swedish government will make an EU pledge with the City of Gothenburg, the Gothenburg region municipal federations and Västra Götaland region. The purpose of this is to jointly raise awareness of the EU and to better enable residents of Västra Götaland to affect decisions being made at the EU level.

This event will be held in Swedish.

It is open to the public, but you must register by September 20th: http://grbookit.grkom.se/aktivitet/6992
