How to prevent harassment and other forms of infringements

As an employer and education provider, we are required to take active measures to prevent discrimination on all grounds covered by the Discrimination Act - situations that have a connection to gender, transgender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation and age. Harassment is one form of discrimination. During this seminar, we will learn what harassment is; how to deal with it and other forms of infringements; and consider the judicial aspects.

The lecturer is Patrik Edgren from Equal Relations (www.equalrelations.se). He has worked on issues of equality, diversity and work environment since the turn of the millennium. He has a background from the Teachers' Union and the Equality Ombudsman, where he gained experience in investigating individual cases of discrimination and of supervising the work of employers. Patrik has led a network of equality coordinators from 32 of Sweden's higher education institutions. He has a degree in political science with a specialization in democratization processes from Stockholm University.
