This Master Programme starts every September and the application is open March 15 - June 25. When no application period is open, no programmes will appear at the websites, so make sure that you submit your application within the time limit. 

Please note that you must submitt the following: 1) a CV that gives an overview of your academic merits, and your experiences of organizational and professional life, as well as 2) a Statement of Intent and 3) a Letter of Support from your current employer. Read more about these documents here.

No documents sent directly to the University will be considered. All questions concerning the technical part of your application will be answered by www.universityadmissions.se/www.antagning.se. All questions regarding admission will be answered by the Admission Office at the University of Gothenburg.

Application round for Swedish applicants and EEA applicants March 15 - June 25

This application period is open for:
Swedish students
EEA students (EU Member States and Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein)

Swedish students or EEA students apply at www.antagning.se (in swedish) and www.universityadmissions.se (in english). Follow all the instructions that are given on the page. All documents must arrive in Östersund by the date stated on the webpage, to be considered.

For SWEDISH students without a registered address in Sweden (folkbokföringsadress):
Your account on universityadmissions.se is activated through a code sent to your "folkbokföringsadress" (registered address in Sweden). If you are not "folkbokförd"/registered in Sweden, you should contact universityadmissions.se via either e-mail or chat, and they will help you activate your account which enables you to upload the necessary documents.

If you are the least unsure about the documents supporting your English qualifications, we strongly advise you to take a language test as soon as possible. Find out about internationally recognized language tests here.

If you are the least unsure about the documents supporting your bachelor's degree or other skills, we strongly advise you to fill in this form as soon as possible.

EMAES is open for applications from 15 March until 25 June. Applications should be submitted through www.universityadmissions.se 


You can either search for "Executive Master's Programme in European Studies" or enter the code GU-17699 to be directed to the correct application page.
